Book Review

harry-potter-and-the-cursed-childAttention: Were you obsessed with Harry Potter in elementary school? If so, read on!

Most former or current Harry Potter fans were ecstatic when, in June of last year, it was announced that there was a two-part West End stage play written by Jack Thorne,  J.K. Rowling, and John Tiffany, being published on July 31st! Having been a fan myself, I recently checked Harry Potter and the Cursed Child out of our school library and read the newest development in the happenings at Hogwarts.

I will not summarize the play, in an effort to allow those who have not read it yet, the opportunity to do so without having it spoiled. However, I believe that it is worth reading. Harry is now married and a father of three. He faces new challenges, especially being a father to Albus. Old characters are revisited and it gives insight into life twenty years after the Battle of Hogwarts.
